I officially declared myself a stage director in 2015 after spending six expensive years learning how to sing. At the time of my declaration, I had almost no idea what it meant to be a director. I mean, I had an idea of what the basic responsibilities were, but not much beyond that. Thanks to the beautiful mother internet, I stumbled on this podcast from the incredible artists at Nature Theatre of Oklahoma and started a self-education centered on the conversations contained in this show.
OK Radio takes inspiration from the Cage / Feldman conversations and approaches the act of interview as a piece of experimental theater in its own right. The subjects are brilliant, diverse, strange, inspiring artists from across the theatrical universe. So many beautiful minds! Check it out!
